Best waffle house I've been to in a long time. The staff was friendly as soon as I walked in the door. Very sweet ladies in fast service! Wish I could get this service all the time. Great place!! I recommend everyone should try This place who's in Chattanooga!
I'm back in Heaven, Waffle House Smothered covered and Country Eggs and Hash Browns And Grits! Thanks Out to the lovely Toni!
Been coming to this Waffle House once a week for a while. Our typical server is Melanie and she's awesome. She has always prompt, thorough and clear. Sometimes the place has seemed in disarray those times she isn't here. As soon as she steps through the doors everything becomes organized.
Ask for the $5 menu if you aren't feeling an All Star. Second best value for money items on there.
The food and service was hands down a 4-star rating but the cleanliness was unusually disgusting. I will be back, because you can't beat a pecan waffle - not even the Beast and Barrel can do a decent waffle.
I attempted to reach the manager, but never got a return message....
To the manger,
I am in the restaurant and culinary business myself and am visiting from out of state. I have heard nothing but good things about Waffle House since there is not one in my state. I went this morning and had the absolute worst experience. We sat at a dirty bar where it took the waitress several minutes to notice us and clean the counter. We ordered our meal and watched them prepare it. I noticed the number one rule within the cooking industry, meats go on the bottom shelf of the fridge. Workers were throwing bacon to the back of the fridge with no gloves on and then tossing new bacon strips straight onto the old bacon. I watched more raw bacon placed into plates then cooked then put onto the same plates. My eggs were severely under undercooked. I don't know if you know this but bacon, eggs, and sausage are known for having salmonella if undercooked. I cannot count the number of times of cross contamination. From what I didn't not eat and what I saw other people eat you are making people sick and ruining the industry. Fix your restaurant.
